Several oversized, heavily illustrated works of architectural and historical interest from the John Crerar Library collection are being digitized by the University of Chicago Library. The first of these works is now available for the first time in digital format. Baukunst des Mittelalters is a 19th century collection of illustrations by Johannes Otzen of German cathedrals and other structures from the Middle Ages. This digital work is now available for view at http://a2.lib.uchicago.edu/pip.php?/pres/2011/pres2011-0010.pdf . Additional titles will be available as work on them is completed.
