Science fun at Family Science Days!

On Saturday and Sunday, visit Family Science Days, a free event for the general public featuring hands-on demonstrations and other family and kid-friendly activities. Presented by AAAS and Science Chicago in partnership with area laboratories, universities, and museums. The event also features the Meet the Scientists Series that gives you the chance to have your questions answered by experts.

RefWorks Workshop, Feb. 5, 2008

RefWorks is a Web-based bibliographic management tool that makes creating bibliographies or citing resources quick and easy.

This workshop will teach you the basic features of RefWorks. First, you will learn how to download citations and references from the Library's electronic resources into your RefWorks database. Next, you will learn how to manage your references using folders and other editing features. Finally, you will learn how to create footnotes and bibliographies using Write-n-Cite with MS Word.

This workshop is not held in a computer classroom.  Feel free to bring your laptop to follow along.  A few library laptops will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
